McIntosh Notches Two Wins, Swimming Falls to Norwich, UMass Dartmouth in Tri-Meet at Norwich

NORTHFIELD, Vt. (January 27, 2018) – In its final meet of the regular season, the Franklin Pierce University women’s swimming team was defeated by both Massachusetts Dartmouth (97-50) and host Norwich (68-50) in tri-meet action at Norwich’s Goodyear Pool. Freshman Nicole McIntosh (North Pole, Alaska) led the way for the Ravens with a pair of victories on the day.
Swimming Falls to Pace, Saint Rose in Tri-Meet at Pace

PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. (January 20, 2018) – The Franklin Pierce University women’s swimming team returned to the competition pool for the first time in two months on Saturday, as they traveled to Pace University for a tri-meet against a pair of fellow Northeast-10 Conference members at the Goldstein Fitness Center. The Ravens suffered a pair of defeats, as they fell to the host Setters, 167-40, and to Saint Rose, 115-61.
Swimming Finishes Fifth at North Country Invitational

(November 18, 2017) – The Franklin Pierce University women’s swimming team collected five more top-five finishes on Saturday, as the Ravens wrapped up competition at the second day of the North Country Invitational. Franklin Pierce closed out the event in fifth place, out of seven competing teams.

Swimming Felled by Saint Michael’s, Merrimack

COLCHESTER, Vt. (November 10, 2017) – The Franklin Pierce University women’s swimming team took to the road for a tri-meet on Friday evening, as they traveled to Saint Michael’s to take on a pair of Northeast-10 Conference foes. The Ravens were defeated twice on the night, falling to the host Purple Knights, 186-26, and coming up short against Merrimack as well, 172-24.

WELLESLEY, Mass. (November 4, 2017) – After a week off, the Franklin Pierce University women’s swimming team returned to the pool on Saturday afternoon at Wellesley. The Ravens were dealt a 228-23 defeat by the Blue.

The Ravens squared off with the host Owls, as well as Colby-Sawyer and fellow Northeast-10 Conference member Saint Michael’s.

RINDGE, N.H. (October 18, 2017) – Freshman Maggie Miller (Northampton, Mass.) of the Franklin Pierce University swimming team has been named Northeast-10 Conference Rookie of the Week, for the week ending on Oct. 15, as announced on Wednesday by the Conference office.
Swimming Picks up Program’s First Wins, Defeats Colby-Sawyer and St. Joseph’s (Maine)

(October 14, 2017) – The Franklin Pierce University women’s swimming team came away winners for the first time in program history on Saturday, as the Ravens picked up a pair of victories in a tri-meet hosted by Colby-Sawyer College. The Ravens posted a 131-105 victory over the host Chargers, while also tallying a 129-115 win over St. Joseph’s (Maine).

ANDOVER, Mass. (September 30, 2017) – The Franklin Pierce University women’s swimming team hit the road on Saturday afternoon, to contest the program’s first-ever meet, as the Ravens visited Merrimack for a dual meet at Andover YMCA. The Ravens suffered a 188-46 defeat in their inaugural outing, but along the way, freshman Caitlin Henderson (Waterford, Conn.) posted a win in the 50-yard breaststroke.
Swimming Announces Initial Recruiting Class

RINDGE, N.H. (September 22, 2017) – The Franklin Pierce University women’s swimming program is proud to announce its first-ever recruiting class, consisting of 11 newcomers who signed with the program over the course of the winter and spring of 2016-17. The class represents nine different states, and will make up the bulk of the team’s roster when it begins competition in the coming weeks.
