Before Franklin Pierce: Taylor was on the golf team at Newington High School...During her freshman year, she was an academic honor roll choice and received a varsity letter and pin...As a sophomore, she collected the Chairman award for athletics in golf and achieved the Julie Fosdick Award for great sportsmanship and positive attitude at the golf camp...She remained on the varsity team for her junior season and during her final campaign, Taylor earned the Coaches Award in Golf for athletics.
