RINDGE, N.H. (June 16, 2010) Golf Digest, in conjunction with ESPN.com, has ranked The Shattuck the 43rd toughest course in the United States. The two media outlets recently listed the top-50 toughest golf courses on ESPNs website. The Shattuck, located in Jaffrey, N.H., is the home golf course for the Franklin Pierce University golf program.
Golf Concludes 2009-10 Season With Fourth Place Finish at Blazers Invitational

(April 30, 2010) The Franklin Pierce University golf team concluded its 2009-10 season on Friday as it placed fourth out of six teams with a 57-over par, 341, at the Blazers Invitational, hosted by Elms College at the Chicopee Country Club in Chicopee, Mass. Elms won the tournament after firing a 319 (+35).
Men's Golf Turns in Strong Final Round to Place Fifth at AIC Invitational

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (April 20, 2010) The Franklin Pierce University golf team shot a final round 27-over par, 315, to finish in fifth place out of 10 teams at the 2010 American International Invitational at the Springfield Country Club in Springfield, Mass. The Ravens, who sat in seventh place entering Tuesdays final round, finished with a two-round total of 639 (+63). AIC won the tournament by carding a 608 (+32).

The Ravens carded a 324 (+36) on Monday at the Springfield Country Club in Springfield, Mass. The AIC Invite will conclude on Tuesday with the final round, which will begin at 9 a.m.

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (April 15, 2010) The Franklin Pierce University golf team shot a 29-over, 317 on Thursday to tie for fourth place in the WNEC Invitational at the Veterans Golf Course in Springfield, Mass. It marked the sixth time this season Franklin Pierce finished among the top-five in the team standings of a tournament and the first time this spring they achieved the feat. Babson won the tournament by carding a +18, 306.

(October 20, 2009) The Franklin Pierce University golf team finished 29th out of 40 teams at the 2009 New England Intercollegiate Golf Association (NEIGA) Championship over the past two days at the 36-hole Captains Golf Course in Brewster, Mass. on Cape Cod. The Ravens shot a combined 662 (+85) over the two rounds of the championship, which was sponsored by Cleveland Golf and Srixon, two of the major brand names in the game.

Anna Maria freshman Nate McNamara took home medalist honors as he carded a 72. Westfield State captured the team championship by 10 shots with a score of 319.

(September 24, 2009) The Franklin Pierce University mens golf team was picked to finish 12th in the Northeast-10 Conference, according to the leagues preseason poll which was announced on Thursday. The poll was voted on by the leagues 12 head coaches prior to the start of the fall season. The 2009 Northeast-10 Conference Mens Golf Championship will be held on Oct. 4-5, at the Crumpin-Fox Golf Club in Bernardston, Mass.

(September 21, 2009) Senior Peter Panopoulos (Rindge, N.H.) shot a second-round 77 on Monday afternoon to finish with a two-day total of 154 and lead the Franklin Pierce University golf team to a team score of 640 and 12th place finish out of 17 teams at the Northeast Intercollegiate Championship, hosted by Post at Wintonbury Hills Golf Club. Panopoulos 154 put him in a four-way tie for 19th overall. American International junior Greg Strattner and sophomore Kevin Daniels tied for medalist honors at 144 to lead AIC to the team title with a two-day score of 591.

(September 20, 2009) Senior Peter Panopoulos (Rindge, N.H.) shot a 77 on Sunday afternoon to lead the Franklin Pierce University golf team to a team score of 322 and a tie for 13th place out of 17 teams after the first day of the Northeast Intercollegiate Championship, hosted by Post at Wintonbury Hills Golf Club. Panopoulos 77 ties him for 20th position after the first day of the championship, which will conclude on Monday. American International junior Greg Strattner shot a 69 to lead all players on Sunday and lead AIC to a 294 and the first-round lead.
