RINDGE, N.H. (April 9, 2015) -- Three Franklin Pierce University basketball players have been named to the winter 2014-15 Northeast-10 Academic All-Conference Team for their respective sports, as announced last week by the Conference office. Women's Basketball junior Kara Charette (Fairhaven, Mass.), men's basketball senior Ryen Vilmont (Philadelphia, Pa.) and men's track & field sophomore Jon Holmes (Albany, N.Y.) were all honored. The three student-athletes were among 66 student-athletes across seven sports honored by the Northeast-10.

(February 24, 2015) – Junior Tyler Iacuone (Mahopac, N.Y.) helped send his senior teammates home with a win on Wednesday night, as his last-second three-pointer lifted the Franklin Pierce University Men’s Basketball team over the Bentley University Falcons by a final score of 85-84. Senior Ryen Vilmont (Philadelphia, Pa.) finishes his career with a 25 point performance, leading all scorers in the game.

NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. (February 21, 2015) – The Franklin Pierce Men’s Basketball team had a tough go of it on Saturday afternoon, and as a team shot a total 39.7 percent from the floor, including going 8-31 from behind the three-point arc (25.8%). That led to bad news as the Ravens took their second loss in as many games as they were defeated by the Merrimack College Warriors by a final score of 68-65. In a bright spot for the Ravens, senior Ryen Vilmont (Philadelphia, Pa.) recorded a double-double in his second consecutive game with 15 points and a team-high 10 rebounds.

(February 18, 2015) – Carter Smith hit a jumper with four seconds to play in overtime to help lead the Stonehill College Skyhawks to victory over the Franklin Pierce University Ravens by a final score of 65-63 on Wednesday night. Senior Ryen Vilmont (Philadelphia, Pa.) notched a double-double by scoring a team-high 16 points and grabbed 12 rebounds in the process.

The Ravens were defeated by the American International College Yellow Jackets in overtime by a final score of 76-70.
