(March 29, 2012) -- Franklin Pierce University men's basketball standout Eric Jean-Guillaume (Stamford, Conn.) was named a Second-Team All-American on Wednesday by Division II Bulletin, a national publication devoted to the coverage of NCAA Division II basketball. It marks the second All-America award for Jean-Guillaume this season as he also earned similar accolades last week from the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC).

(March 24, 2012) -- The post-season honors continued to roll in for the Franklin Pierce University men's basketball this week as a trio of Ravens earned impressive accolades from the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC). Junior guard Eric Jean-Guillaume (Stamford, Conn.) was named an All-American, while also earning a spot the NABC All-East First-Team. Teammate and sophomore forward Ellis Cooper (Northampton, Mass.) was named to the East second-team, while head coach David Chadbourne was named the NABC East Region Coach of the Year.

(March 11, 2012) -- The top-seeded Franklin Pierce University men's basketball team dropped a 69-60 decision to fifth-seeded Bloomfield College on Sunday night in the second round of the 2012 NCAA Division II Men's Basketball East Regional Championship at Laska Gymnasium in Worcester, Mass. The Ravens concluded their season with a 22-8 record, while Bloomfield improved to 26-7 and advanced to Tuesday night's regional final versus second-seeded Stonehill at 7 p.m.

(March 10, 2012) -- The top-seeded Franklin Pierce University men's basketball team survived a scare from eighth-seeded Philadelphia University in the first round of the 2012 NCAA Divison II Tournament East Regional on Saturday, as junior guard Eric Jean-Guillaume (Stamford, Conn.) put in a basket with under a minute remaining to lift the Ravens to a 59-58 win.

The top-seeded Ravens fell to 21-7, while fourth-seeded Lowell improved to 20-8 and advanced to the conference title game on Saturday versus third-seeded Stonehill.

(February 26, 2012) -- The Franklin Pierce University men's basketball team survived a late rally by Assumption on Sunday night and pulled out a narrow 55-50 win in the Northeast-10 Conference Tournament quarterfinals at The Fieldhouse in Rindge. The top-seeded and regular season champion Ravens improved to 21-6, while also advancing to the semifinals on Wednesday night where they will play host to fourth-seeded UMass-Lowell at 7 p.m. Ninth-seeded Assumption closed out its season with a 14-14 record.

(February 24, 2012) -- The Franklin Pierce University men's basketball team received outstanding news on Friday morning as a quartet from the program earned major recognition from the Northeast-10 Conference. It started with junior guard Eric Jean-Guillaume (Stamford, Conn.) being named the league's Player of the Year and gaining a spot on the All-NE-10 First-Team. Sophomore forward Ellis Cooper (Northampton, Mass.) joined Jean-Guillaume on the all-league first-team and David Chadbourne was named the NE-10 Coach of the Year. In addition those honors, freshman forward Ryen Vilmont (Philadelphia, Pa.) was named to the NE-10 All-Rookie Team.

The fourth-seeded women's basketball team will take on fifth-seeded Southern New Hampshire at 1:30 p.m., with the NE-10 regular season champion men's basketball team taking on either Assumption or Bentley at 3:30 p.m.

RINDGE, N.H. (February 21, 2012) -- The Franklin Pierce University men's basketball team is the 2012 regular season champion of the Northeast-10 Conference. The Ravens claimed the crown on Tuesday night with a 73-60 win in the regular season finale over Merrimack in The Fieldhouse in Rindge. Franklin Pierce concluded the regular season with a 20-6 overall record and a 16-6 mark in the league, while the Warriors fell to 15-11 and 12-10 in conference play.

(February 18, 2012) -- Sophomore forward Ellis Cooper (Northampton, Mass.) knocked down the game-winning three-pointer with just :00.8 left on Saturday to lift the Franklin Pierce University men's basketball to a thrilling 74-71 win at The Fieldhouse in Rindge. The Ravens, who are ranked No. 1 in the NCAA East Region Poll, won for the second-straight game and improved to 19-6 overall and 15-6 in the Northeast-10. Lowell, which was ranked fourth in the region, fell to 16-9 and 12-9 in league play.
