(2/2/23) – A grand total of fifteen Franklin Pierce student-athletes from across seven fall sports continued to set the standard in the classroom, and were recently selected to the Northeast-10 Conference’s Academic All-Conference team. The official announcement came from the league offices on Thursday (2/2/23) afternoon.
Women’s Cross Country Clocks Program-Best Eighth-Place Finish at NCAA East Regional

GARDEN CITY, N.Y. (November 19, 2022) -- The Franklin Pierce University women’s cross country team put together the best finish in program history on Saturday, as the Ravens took eighth place, out of 19 teams, at the NCAA Championship East Regional, hosted by Adelphi. First across the line for the Ravens was graduate student Saylee Missell (Stafford Springs, Conn.), who claimed 48th out of 143 runners for her 24:04 time in the 6k race.
Women’s Cross Country Matches Program Best with Sixth-Place Finish at NE10 Championship

COLCHESTER, Vt. (November 6, 2022) -- The Franklin Pierce University women’s cross country program was able to match its program-beset Northeast-10 Conference Championship on Sunday, as the Ravens took sixth out of 13 teams in the 2022 edition of the meet, which was hosted by Saint Michael’s. Franklin Pierce also had multiple All-NE10 finishers for the first time in program history. Leading the Ravens was junior Meghan Sheline (Southington, Conn.), who took 16th with her 23:50 time for the 6k course.
Summa Wins Again, Cross Country Wraps up Regular Season at CCSU

NEW BRITAIN, Conn. (October 21, 2022) -- It was one final pre-championship tune-up for the Franklin Pierce University cross country program on Friday afternoon, as the Ravens participated at the CCSU Mini-Meet, hosted by Central Connecticut State University at Stanley Park. Junior Wondu Summa (Burlington, Vt.) was the highlight for the Ravens once again, as he picked up his fourth straight race win with a 14:40 time in the 5k, which was just two seconds shy of the course record, and shattered the Franklin Pierce program record at the distance.
Women’s Cross Country Takes Third at Kirsh Cup

HOPKINTON, N.H. (October 15, 2022) -- It was time for the Franklin Pierce University women’s cross country team’s annual home meet on Saturday, as the Ravens hosted the Bruce Kirsh Cross Country Cup. The Ravens came home third, out of six teams, in the 5k race at Hopkinton State Fairgrounds.
Women’s Cross Country 15th at Mike Woods Invitational

GENESEO, N.Y. (October 1, 2022) -- The Franklin Pierce University women’s cross country program was in action on Saturday at the Mike Woods Invitational, hosted by SUNY Geneseo at the National Warplane Museum. The Ravens finished 15th out of 20 teams in the 6k race.
Missell Leads Way, Women’s Cross Country 26th to Open Season at UMass Dartmouth

NORTH DARTMOUTH, Mass. (September 17, 2022) -- The Franklin Pierce University women’s cross country team competed at the UMass Dartmouth Invitational to open its season on Saturday. The Ravens took 26th overall out of 38 teams in the varsity 5k race.
