  • The Ravens showed signs of life to begin the third period. Senior forward Mikayla Kelley (Eagan, Minn.) fed a pass from the corner to sophomore defenseman Courtney Swenson (Bolingbrook, Ill.) at the point. She fired a wrister on net that created a rebound in front and sophomore forward Emma Laroche (Highgate, Vt.) whacked it in the back of the cage, cutting the deficit to 3-1.
  • The Ravens wouldn't stop there, striking again late in the period with just 59 seconds remaining. Junior forward McKenzie Rich (Rochester, Minn.) corralled a loose puck in the slot and buried a wrister in the left corner to make it 3-2 Eagles. Despite the late push from the Ravens, it wasn't enough as they fell short to the Eagles.
