SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. (June 2, 2015) – Johannah Leedham ’10, formerly of the Franklin Pierce University women’s basketball team, has been inducted into the Northeast-10 Conference Hall of Fame, as announced by the Conference office at the league’s annual banquet on Monday evening. Leedham is the NCAA Division II all-time leading scorer (3,050 points) and led the Ravens to three consecutive regional titles (2008, 2009, 2010), including a trip to the national title game in 2009.

RINDGE, N.H. (April 9, 2015) -- Three Franklin Pierce University basketball players have been named to the winter 2014-15 Northeast-10 Academic All-Conference Team for their respective sports, as announced last week by the Conference office. Women's Basketball junior Kara Charette (Fairhaven, Mass.), men's basketball senior Ryen Vilmont (Philadelphia, Pa.) and men's track & field sophomore Jon Holmes (Albany, N.Y.) were all honored. The three student-athletes were among 66 student-athletes across seven sports honored by the Northeast-10.

(March 13, 2015) –The Franklin Pierce University women’s basketball team advanced to the next round of the NCAA East Regional Championship hosted by Adelphi University with a 78-66 victory over the University of District of Columbia. Graduate student Jessica Hurd (Kegworth, England) posted a 19 point, 13 rebound double-double, while Junior Kara Charette (Fairhaven, Mass.) and junior Natalie Bastian (Branford, Conn.) were in double digits in Friday afternoon’s contest at the Center for Recreation and Sports.

RINDGE, N.H. (March 8, 2015) – The Franklin Pierce University women’s basketball team has been named as the sixth seed of the NCAA Championship East Regional, as announced Sunday night by the NCAA. The Ravens, a Northeast-10 Conference semifinalist, earn an at-large bid in the eight-team tournament, which will run Friday, March 13 through Monday, March 16 and be hosted by top seed Adelphi at Center for Recreation and Sports in Garden City, N.Y. Franklin Pierce will open pursuit of its fourth regional crown at noon on Friday against third-seeded District of Columbia.

Graduate student Jessica Hurd (Kegworth, England) and Junior Kara Charette (Fairhaven, Mass.) each posted a double-double, while junior Dyamond Gardner (Cambridge, Mass.) – the lone senior honored during senior night prior to the start of the game- and junior Natalie Bastian (Branford, Conn.) also contributed double figures in the 79-50 win over the reigning NCAA Diving II National Champion, Bentley University.

NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. (February 21, 2015) – With just two seconds on the clock, the game was within three points with a three pointer by junior Natalie Bastian (Branford, Conn.), however it would not be enough for the Franklin Pierce Women’s Basketball team on Saturday afternoon. Merrimack College held the Ravens to under 50 points, which has not been done since a loss to Stonehill College (70-47) on November 20th 2012. Franklin Pierce ends their four game winning streak with a 53-49 loss at Hammel Court in Northeast-10 Conference play.

The Ravens battled back from a 12 point defecit early in the game, to take control of the game at the start of the second half.
