Ravens win in top four singles matches

Brewer MANCHESTER, N.H. (April 18, 2015) – In his final collegiate match, senior Christopher Brewer (Brattleboro, Vt.) won at both first doubles and first singles on Saturday afternoon, to lead the way for the Franklin Pierce University men's tennis team in a 6-3 win at Saint Anselm in Northeast-10 Conference play.

With the win, Franklin Pierce concludes its season at 2-10 (2-8 Northeast-10), while Saint Anselm finishes up at 2-9 (2-8 Northeast-10).

The tide of the match turned early, as doubles play featured a pair of high-drama matches, both of which went the Ravens' way in tiebreaks. The remaining doubles match went to Saint Anselm, as freshmen Robert Patenaude and Alex Pearson notched an 8-3 win over senior Aras Banevicius (Canton, Conn.) and freshman Logan Sherwood (Merrimac, Mass.).
