MANSFIELD, Mass. (October 14, 2019) –  Franklin Pierce University men's soccer senior midfielder Marc Forner (Silla, Spain) has been named the Northeast-10 Conference Player of the Week the league offices announced Monday afternoon. It is the first time this year a Raven soccer athlete has earned a weekly award.

Forner helped lead the Ravens to a 2-0 mark this week with two goals, one assist and five points on two total shots. In the 3-1 win at Southern Connecticut State, the third in a row for FPU, Forner came off the bench and tallied the game-winning goal and assisted on Antonio Ferreira's fourth goal of the season. He added a goal in the 3-0 win over Saint Anselm.

As a team, Franklin Pierce leads the league in goals against (7) and has allowed only four in conference contests.

The Ravens (7-2-1, 5-1 NE10) return home for the first time in two weeks tomorrow when they welcome Saint Michael's College for a 7:00 p.m. conference duel.
