HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Eagles came out firing to begin the 1st quarter. They struck for 4 goals to take an early 4-0 lead. The Ravens got one back at the end of the quarter to cut the deficit to 4-1. Sophomore midfielder Chris Hunt (Billerica, Mass.) dropped it back for junior midfielder Jackson Philion (Charlton, Mass.) who ripped a shot from the right side that bounced in the back of the cage. The Eagles led 4-1 after the 1st quarter.
- The late momentum didn't carry over for the Ravens to open the 2nd quarter. The Eagles dominated play and scored 5 goals to take a commanding 9-1 lead into the halftime break.
- The Eagles hot offense continued to thrive in the 3rd quarter. They scored the first two goals to open the frame and take the 11-1 lead. The Ravens would counter on the man up. Redshirt freshman attackmen Caleb White (Hampton, N.H.) crossed a pass over to freshman attackmen Michael Lawler (Wilmington, Mass.) who buried a shot to capitalize on the man up and make it 11-2 Eagles. The Eagles responded with another pail of goals to take the 13-2 lead. The Ravens ended the 3rd quarter with a goal however as freshman attackmen Aidan Gibbons (Billerica, Mass.) whacked home a deflection. The Eagles led 13-3 to end the 3rd quarter.
- The Eagles began the 4th quarter with a goal on the man up to go up 14-3. The Ravens can draw off some positives in the 4th quarter as they scored 3 goals in the frame. The first came from Caleb White as he zipped a shot into the left corner of the goal off a feed from senior midfielder Jackson Hale (Kensington, N.H.). Caleb White scored later on in the frame from a dish from Aidan Gibbons. Jackson Philion later added his 2nd at the end of the 4th quarter, but they Ravens still fell short 16-6 to the Eagles.
