- The Eagles struck first 9:14 into the 2nd period. Max Beaulac snuck a wrist shot inside the right post to take the 1-0 lead.
- It didn't take long for the Ravens to respond, tying the score 1-1 1:51 later. Sophomore forward Nick Fish (Ashland, Mass.) fed a backhand pass in the slot for sophomore forward Nicholas Tessier (Beaver Falls, Pa.) that went off the leg of an Eagle defender and was tucked into the net by Tessier.

Junior defenseman Doug McGuire (Elk Grove Village, Ill.) gained the attacking zone and slid the puck to junior forward Austin Pick (Troutdale, Ore.), who came streaking on the right wing.
