PHILADELPHIA, Pa. (March 11, 2006) Franklin Pierce won its first postseason tournament since 1992 as the third-seeded Ravens posted a 61-60 victory over top-seeded Philadelphia University in the championship game of the 2006 Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division II Tournament at Holy Family University this evening.

(March 10, 2006) Third-seeded Franklin Pierce opened a 13-point lead by halftime and rolled to a 70-48 victory over second-seeded Dominican College in opening round action of the 2006 Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division II Womens Basketball Tournament at the Hennessy Center this evening.

RINDGE, N.H. (March 7, 2006) Franklin Pierce senior forward Heather Jacobs (Stoughton, Mass./Stoughton) has been named to the All-Northeast-10 Conference womens basketball second team. The announcement, made over the weekend at the NE-10 Championships, comes after a vote of the 15 NE-10 womens basketball head coaches.
