WALTHAM, Mass. (February 28, 2016) – A team-high 18 points from sophomore center Mike McDevitt (Cumberland, Maine) and 13 more for senior guard Tyler Iacuone (Mahopac, N.Y.) were not enough for the Franklin Pierce University men’s basketball team on Sunday afternoon, in the quarterfinal round of the Northeast-10 Conference Championship. A 17-4 run surrounding halftime proved to be the difference, as Bentley pulled away in the second half for an 86-71 win at Dana Center.

(February 26, 2016) – A layup by junior guard Donte Gittens (Hartford, Conn.) with just 38 seconds to go put the Franklin Pierce University men’s basketball team up for good on Friday night in the first round of the Northeast-10 Conference Championship. After giving the Ravens the lead, Gittens and junior guard Matt Banton (Brooklyn, N.Y.) combined to go 4-for-4 from the free-throw line in the final 20 seconds to finish off the 73-69 win over Le Moyne at Ted Grant Court.

Junior guard Matt Banton (Brooklyn, N.Y.) added a trio of three-pointers as part of a 13-point night, as the Ravens walked away with a 78-66 win over the Greyhounds.

(February 6, 2016) -- Stonehill was able to keep a double-digit lead for most of the game on Saturday afternoon, but the Franklin Pierce University men’s basketball team was able to put together enough points to come within one point after junior guard Donte Gittens (Hartford, Conn.) sank a three-pointer. Ultimately, however, Franklin Pierce could not come all the way back and dropped the Northeast-10 decision, 81-79, in the Fieldhouse.
