MANSFIELD, Mass. (October 19, 2021) – The Northeast-10 Conference announced on Tuesday afternoon that graduate student Himani Mor (Sonipat, India) has been named the NE10 player of the Week. The award marks the third NE10 weekly honor accolade in Mor's career.

Mor posted a 1-0 record in doubles play and a 1-0 record in singles competition in the Ravens 5-2 win at Adelphi University last Tuesday.

The graduate student partnered with junior Liria Loria (La Paz, Bolivia) at No. 1 doubles. The duo took down the Adelphi pair, Barbie Quagliardi and Caterina Federici, 6-3, to help the Crimson and Grey notch the doubles point.

Mor defeated Quagliardi of Adelphi in singles competition on court No. 2. After Quagliardi took the first set 6-3, the Sonipat, India, native came back to win the final two sets 6-3, 7-5 to secure her point.

The No. 3-seeded Ravens will host the No. 6-seeded University of New Haven Chargers on Wednesday, October 20, for the First Round of the NE10 Championships. The match is slated for a 1 p.m. start at the Tennis Courts.
