WALTHAM, MASS. (4/2/2024) – The Ravens' two game winning streak came to an end Tuesday evening after the team dropped a hard 19-5 loss to the no. 19 ranked Falcons of Bentley University. Leading the offensive charge for Franklin Pierce, senior midfielder Kayli Hoefs (Amsterdam, NY) tallied all five goals for the Ravens.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

• From the opening whistle, the Ravens struggled to keep up with the Falcons' offense which cracked open the game with 5 goals in the first ten minutes. In the final four minutes of the first, Hoefs grabbed two goals but the Ravens still trailed 6-2 after one.
• During the second quarter the Falcons pressed forward with six unanswered goals and a commanding 12-2 lead. With just under three minutes left on the clock, Hoefs grabbed her third goal of the game to make it 12-3 heading into half.
• The Falcon's offense cooled in the third quarter but still generated another three goals to make it 15-3. Again, Hoefs closed out the quarter with another goal off a free position shot with five seconds on the clock.
• In the fourth, Falcons kept business as usual and tallied another four goals, and Hoefs repeated with a final goal with a minute left on the clock to end the game with a 19-5 final.
