Bio

After wrapping up her playing career with a NEWHA title in 2021-22, Katerina Dajia moves behind the bench for the Franklin Pierce University women's ice hockey team in 2022-23, for her first season as an assistant coach.

Dajia spent one season on the ice for the Ravens (bio), playing an important role on the blue line in the team's championship season of 2021-22. Across 24 games, she tallied 11 points (3-8-11) and 34 penalty minutes, to go with a steady +22 plus/minus, all of which was good enough to earn her a spot on the All-NEWHA Second Team.

Dajia joined the crimson and grey following her undergraduate career at Dartmouth. While with the Big Green, the Canadian defender played in 85 games over three seasons, totaling seven points (2-5-7) and 95 penalty minutes.

Originally from Aurora, Ontario, Dajia is a 2021 graduate of Dartmouth, and is scheduled to finish her MBA at Franklin Pierce in 2023.
