Women's Golf Ties for Fifth at the Hartford Hawk Spring Invitational
BLOOMFIELD, Conn. (4/9/23) – The Franklin Pierce women's golf team finished tied for 5th with a 673 (340-333) team card in the Hartford Hawk Spring Invitational on Friday (4/7) and Saturday (4/8) at the Par 72, 5811-yard Gillette Ridge Golf Club.
The Ravens drew even with Bryant University (337-336) in the overall event standings, with Fairfield University claiming the win with a score of 648 (325-323). The Ravens did, however, finish ahead of some familiar Northeast-10 competition, including 8th-place Adelphi University (729) and 9th-place Assumption University (803).
Franklin Pierce was led in the effort by sophomore Phisonlaya Ruayruen (Chiangmai, Thailand), who finished tied for 10th with a card of 165 (83-82) across the two rounds.

Women's Golf will compete in the Saint Anselm College Hawk Invitational on Monday and Tuesday, April 17th and 18th at the Candia Woods Golf Links in Candia, New Hampshire, their final stop of the spring.
