RINDGE, N.H. (September 26, 2016) – Senior Dage Minors (Hamilton Parish, Bermuda) of the Franklin Pierce University men's cross country team has been named Northeast-10 Conference Athlete of the Week, as announced on Monday afternoon by the Conference office. In addition, freshmen Aidan Gilbride (East Kilbride, Scotland) and Julia Cormier (Northwood, N.H.) have been named male and female Rookie of the Week, respectively.

The Ravens were in action at the Harry F. Anderson Invitational, hosted by Roberts Wesleyan College, on Saturday. For the men, Minors ran an 8k time of 25:36.2 to finish second, while Gilbride posted a 26:31.4 to place 22nd, as the Ravens finished fourth. On the women's side of things put together a 5k time of 19:47.4 to place 37th and lead the Ravens to an 11th-place finish.

For Gilbride and Cormier, it marked the second time each has won their respective award this year.

The Ravens return to action on Saturday, Oct. 8, when they travel to the NEICAAA Championships at Franklin Park in Boston.
