Ravens head to New England Championships Saturday

ECAC Men's Cross Country Runners of the Week

RINDGE, N.H. (October 10, 2014) – Senior Antoine Gisore (Concord, N.H.) of the Franklin Pierce University men's cross country team has been named Corvias ECAC Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week for the week ending on Oct. 5, as announced Wednesday by the ECAC.

Gisore led the way for the Ravens last week at Lehigh in the Paul Short Collegiate Invitational. His 8K time of 24:50 was good for 52nd in the Gold heat of the event and helped lead Franklin Pierce to a 33rd-place finish.

Gisore was one of two Ravens to finish in the top-100 at the Paul Short Run and it marked the first time in 2014 he had led the team at an event.

The Ravens are back in action on Saturday, Oct. 11, when they head to Franklin Park in Boston for the New England Championships.
