Bio
Marcus Lawrence '19 enters his first season as an assistant coach with the Franklin Pierce University men's and women's tennis programs in 2020-21.
The alma mater marks the first collegiate coaching stop for Lawrence, who was a four-year letterwinner as an undergraduate with the Ravens (bio). Over four years in crimson and grey, he put together a singles record of 27-41, along with a doubles record of 23-42 and was a six-time selection to the Northeast-10 Conference Academic Honor Roll. He capped his career as a senior in 2018-19, when he was selected as the East Region recipient of the Arthur Ashe Leadership and Sportsmanship Award by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association.
Originally from Acton, Mass., Lawrence is pursuing his MBA at Franklin Pierce.
