Field Hockey’s van Doorn Named to All-NE10 Third Team

MANSFIELD, Mass. (November 2, 2021) -- Senior forward Feline van Doorn (Barendrecht, Netherlands) of the Franklin Pierce University field hockey team has been named to the All-Northeast-10 Conference Third Team, as announced on Tuesday afternoon by the league office. It is the second straight All-NE10 Third Team selection for van Doorn, who was also honored in 2019.
The Dutchwoman was the leading offensive threat for the Ravens this fall. She played in all 18 games, including 17 starts, and led the team in both goals (10) and points (21). She added one assist along the way as well, scored two game-winning goals and attempted 57 shots, including 36 on goal. Nationally, van Doorn is tied for 26th in the country in goals per game (0.56). Within the NE10, she is tied for 10th in goals, and ranks 18th in points, eighth in shot attempts and ninth in shots on goal.
For her career, van Doorn will graduate ranked sixth all-time in program history in goals scored (19) and seventh in points (44).
