RINDGE, N.H. (2/7/2023) -- As the cold winter months are hang over New England, the Franklin Pierce University Football program is turning up the heat with its 2024 Signing Day. After a historic 2023 season, the Raven coaching staff is gearing up for more success on Sodexo field in fall of 2024. Below is the latest list of players who will soon sport the Crimson and Grey in Rindge.

Justin Costa
Position: Offensive Line
Height: 6'2
Weight: 285
Hometown: Lynbrook, NY
High School: Holy Trinity High School
What the Coaching Staff is Saying: Justin is an All-League Selection on the Offensive Line and was elected as a team captain in High School. Justin is an earth mover in the interior of the Offensive Line and brings a great combination of size, strength, and footwork to the Raven's offense. Justin played for Coach Hardart.

Adoni Santos:
Position: Kicker
Height: 5'9
Weight: 208
Hometown: Everett, MA
High School: Everett High School
What the Coaching Staff is saying: Adoni has a strong leg as a kick off specialist and has great range when putting the ball through the uprights. He is an accurate kicker who will surely score plenty of points for the Raven's special teams. Adoni played for Coach Flores.

Kevin Estime:
Position: Defensive Line
Height: 6'3
Weight: 235
Hometown: Malverne, New York
High School: Malverne High School
What the Coaching Staff is saying: Estime was a 2x All-State, 2x All-Suffolk County and 2x Defensive Player of the Year during his time at Malverne High School. Kevin's size, get off, and physicality made him a priority player to get during this cycle. The 6'3 defender also plays basketball for Malverne. Kevin played for Coach Lockwood.

Devin Carreiro:
Position: Defensive Back
Height: 5'11
Weight: 185
Hometown: Haverhill, Massachusetts
High School: Haverhill High School
What the Coaching Staff is saying: Carreiro was a 2x All-State player for Haverhill. Devin was a dominant receiver and defensive back for the program. He broke 1,000 yards and had 7 interceptions on defense. Devin has great vision, physical player, and great ball skills and is a great addition to the defensive backfield. Devin played for Coach Pike.

Zahkeer Kerr:
Position: Defensive Back
Height: 6'1
Weight: 170
Hometown: Hartford, Connecticut
High School: Sports Medical & Sciences Academy (SMSA)
What the Coaching Staff is saying: Zahkeer was an all-state and all conference player on the football field. A dynamic and explosive player on the field, Kerr was the starting quarterback and played safety for SMSA. Zahkeer is also an impactful player on the hardwood for SMSA. Kerr projects as a defensive back and will be a great addition to the Raven Defense. Zahkeer played for Coach Smith.

Rashaad George
Position: Defensive Back
Height: 6'4
Weight: 180
Hometown: Tampa, Florida
High School: Wharton High School
What the Coaching Staff is saying: Rashaad was converted from receiver to corner prior to his senior year. The rangy corner possesses great speed, good ball skills and good technique at the line of scrimmage when in press coverage. George has a high ceiling and will provide immediate help in the defensive back room. The rangy corner also runs track for Wharton High School and competes in the 400-meter dash. Rashaad played for Coach Baham.

Connor Adams:

What the Coaching Staff is saying: Connor is a First Team All-State selection in the state of New Hampshire. He is a player who will provide great size and natural catching ability to the Tight End room. Connor played for Coach Donnelly.

Joe Vasquez:
Position: Defensive Back

High School: Plainville High School
What the Coaching Staff is saying: A 3x All-Conference and 2x All-State nominee during his time at Plainville High school. The versatile player was an impact player on both offense and defense. Vasquez's ball skills, length, and physicality made him a must get prospect for this class. Vasquez was a multi-sport athlete for Plainville High School, participating in track, basketball, and football. Joe played for Coach Shea.

Damon "DaeDae" Smith:
Position: Defensive Back

What the Coaching Staff is saying: DaeDae has experience playing corner and safety. Smith plays with physicality, great range, has exceptional ball skills.  Damon is a great addition to the defensive back room.  Damon played Coach O'Donnell.

Tristan Johnson:

What the Coaching Staff is Saying: Tristan is a 2x All-Central New York Selection at Wide Receiver. Tristan will provide length and explosiveness to the Ravens offense in 2024. He is a great vertical threat who can take the top off of the defense as well as make people miss in space. Tristan is a playmaker who will be a great addition to the Receiver's room.  Tristan played for Coach Kline.

Evan Lavenskie:
Position: Offensive Line

High School: Bridgton Academy (Pembroke Academy)
What the Coaching Staff is saying: After playing four years for Pembroke Academy, Evan spent a post graduate year playing for the Wolverines of Bridgton Academy. He will provide great strength and toughness to the unit up front. Evan is an excellent addition to the interior offensive line. Evan played for Coach Dugan.

Jordan Raisanen - Andino
Position: Linebacker

What the Coaching Staff is saying: Jordan is a former state champion and also starred for the baseball team. A physical and athletic prospect has a high ceiling and will be a great addition to the linebacker room. Jordan played for Coach Dugan.

Aidan Thomas:

What the Coaching Staff is Saying: Aidan is the New Hampshire D1 touchdown leader and will be participating in the CHAD New Hampshire All-Star game this summer. Aidan is a dual threat at Quarterback who can make big time plays with his arm as well as in the run game. His versatile skill set will be a great asset to the Raven's offense.

Nate Greene:

What the Coaching Staff is saying: Nate Greene was a force on the defensive line this season for Henry Abott. Nate is a big, physical defensive line prospect. He also plays baseball and golf at Henry Abbot. Nate played for Coach Pase.

Derick Coulanges:
Position: Defensive Back

High School: Bridgton Academy (St. Mary's)
What the Coaching Staff is saying: Derick is a physical player at the safety position. He doubled as a basketball player in high school for St. Mary's. Coulanges won the state championship for football and basketball and was nominated as a CCL all-star. Derick played for Coach Dugan.

Ismail Shabazz:

What the Coaching Staff is saying: Shabazz brings a winning mindset to the Ravens football program. The 2x state champion, was recognized as a 2^nd team all-county and 2^nd team all-conference player this past season. Shabazz showed versatility by playing outside linebacker and defensive end. The tenacious defender was also multi-sport athlete and was on the basketball team. Ismail is one of five highly touted defensive line recruits to sign with the Ravens this cycle. Ismail played for Coach Smoke.

Dan Miller:
Position: Tight End

High School: Niskayuna High School
What the Coaching Staff is saying: Dan is an All-Section player in the state of New York. Dan will have a big impact at the Tight End position for the Ravens. His combination of size and athleticism will make him a matchup nightmare in the passing game for opposing defenses, while still being a punishing run blocker. Dan played for Coach Grastorf.

Aston Martin:

What the Coaching Staff is saying: Aston was a force on the defensive line for Irvington High School. Martin has the ability and physical traits to be able to help the Ravens defense next fall. Martin was a stout defender for Irvington, and was also featured on the offensive line this season. Aston played for Coach Smoke.

Sam Dean:
Position: Defensive Line

Hometown: Hampden, Massachusetts
High School: Minnechaug Regional High School
What the Coaching Staff is saying: Dean was voted as a 1^st team all AA conference nominee. Sam was also selected as a 1^st team All-Western Mass nominee and won team MVP as a Junior. Dean is also one of the best wrestlers in the area. Dean is looking forward to being back on the same side as his former high school teammate, current Raven Linebacker Geno Facchetti. Sam's speed, explosiveness, and physicality made him one of the most highly recruited prospects in the New England area this cycle. Sam played for Coach Nickerson.
