Franklin Pierce has 23 Earn NE10 Presidents’ Award for Academic Excellence

Northeast-10 Conference Presidents' Award for Academic Excellence

MANSFIELD, Mass. (June 18, 2021) -- A total of 23 Franklin Pierce University student-athletes were included in the inaugural crop of recipients of the Northeast-10 Conference Presidents’ Award for Academic Excellence, as announced earlier this week by the NE10.

The Presidents’ Award for Academic Excellence is the NE10’s newest awards program, intended to honor graduating student-athletes for a career of success in the classroom. To be eligible for the award, a graduating student-athlete must attain the Latin honor of Magna Cum Laude or better and must have participated in at least two seasons of NE10 competition. Each award recipient will receive a commemorative NE10 medallion.

The inaugural class of Presidents’ Award for Academic Excellence honorees included 226 student-athletes across the NE10’s 14 member institutions and its three associate members. Adelphi featured the highest number of recipients, with 33.
