Track and Field Both Finish Fifth at the Panther Invitational II
PLYMOUTH, N.H. (2/1/25) - The Franklin Pierce track and field team competed at the Panther Invitational II at Plymouth University, with both the men's and women's teams finishing fifth in a field of 10 teams.
Men's Results
The men's team finished fifth with 52.5 points.
Daniel Dionne placed seventh in the 60m hurdles with a time of 9.36 seconds.
Liam Doherty finished fourth in the 5000m (16:11.14), while Logan Mihelich took eighth (16:30.47).
Antonio Adams Delgado secured second place in the high jump with a height of 1.95m. Zaire Rosa finished seventh (1.80m), and Alioune Diaw placed ninth (1.75m).
Adams Delgado also finished fourth in the long jump with a mark of 6.53m, while Carson Thomas placed eighth (6.35m).
Rosa earned third place in the triple jump with a distance of 12.88m, followed by Damani Domerson in seventh (11.31m).
Aidan Healy finished fifth in the 3000m with a time of 11:02.37.
Travis Martins took fourth in the pole vault with a height of 4.00m. Quintin McDaniels finished seventh (3.10m), and Sam Patton cleared 2.95m.
Sproul Derolus placed third in the shot put with a throw of 13.43m.
Jay Candelario finished 10th in the weight throw with a distance of 11.89m.
The 4x200m relay team, consisting of Jamel Lee, Bunmi Fabikun, Alex Benitez, and Collin Sullivan, finished sixth.
Women's Results
The women's team finished fifth with 62 points.
Lanette StJohn placed sixth in the 60m with a time of 8.31 seconds, while Cora Knight finished eighth (8.45s).
Briahna Bouchard secured second place in the 60m hurdles, breaking the Plymouth Indoor record in both the prelims and finals, surpassing the previous record of 9.55 seconds.
StJohn also placed fifth in the 200m with a time of 27.48 seconds.
Meghan Sheline finished ninth in the 800m (2:36.79) and seventh in the mile (5:49.53). Ellie McOnie-Lownsbrough took 10th (6:05.84).
Jennifer Kulick placed second in the high jump (1.46m), while StJohn and Mackenzie Luth tied for fifth (1.41m).
Abigail Jacobson finished eighth in the long jump with a distance of 4.89m.
Elizabeth Jones secured second place in the pole vault with a height of 2.85m.
Ellie Nunes placed ninth in the shot put with a throw of 10.23m.
Emily Nhun finished second in the weight throw (13.79m), followed by Abigail Philibin in fourth (13.34m).
Bouchard also finished second in the triple jump with a distance of 10.70m, breaking the Plymouth Indoor record.
UP NEXT FOR THE RAVENS: The Franklin Pierce track and field team will head to Rhode Island, next weekend, for the URI Coaches Invitational.
