Women's Tennis Ranks Third in Northeast-10 Coaches' Poll
Mansfield, Mass. (8/28/2023) – The Northeast-10 Conference released its pre-season coaches' poll and the Franklin Pierce University Women's Tennis team ranked third among the 9 schools that will battle it out in the season ahead. The Ravens received 51 votes in the poll, just nine off the top ranked Southern New Hampshire University.
During the 2022-23 season, FPU women's tennis boasted a 12-4 overall record and went 8-1 in conference. In the fall, the team won nine of their ten matches before the Northeast-10 Championship, where they took down Le Moyne in the first round but fell short to Southern New Hampshire in the Northeast-10 Championship 4-3.
The team will return to the courts for their first match of the season on September 9th away at Adelphi University.
