– The Franklin Pierce University women’s tennis team
was defeated, 9-0, in Northeast-10 Conference play at Merrimack on
Friday afternoon.
The match originally began on March 26, but was halted due to rain
before being completed on Friday.
Freshman Drew Alexander (Long

the day for the Ravens, as she was edged out, 9-7, in fifth singles
by Merrimack freshman Kylie Waddington (South Glastonbury,
Conn./Glastonbury).
Four Merrimack players posted wins in both singles and doubles, led

one game in her singles match after teaming with senior Brittany
Holmes (Westford, Mass./Westford Academy) to sweep through their
doubles match without losing a game.
The Ravens conclude their season with a 2-11 record, including 2-10
