Three seasons (34-15-6 through 2019)

Jonathan Garbar wrapped up his third season as the head coach of the Franklin Pierce University women's soccer program in 2019 (hiring release). The fourth head coach in program history, through three seasons at the helm in Rindge, Garbar has posted a 34-15-6 record (.673 winning percentage) over 55 games. He joined Franklin Pierce after establishing an extensive résumé of success over five seasons at the junior college level at Monroe College in New York. Beginning in 2020-21, he also serves as the Department of Athletics' first-ever Athletics Diversity and Inclusion Designee.

The 2019 campaign was the career finale for one of the most talented players to play under Garbar at Franklin Pierce thus far, as Veronica Marques did her final tour of duty in a Ravens uniform. The Sao Paulo, Brazil, native finished her career with 71 points over three seasons, which put her among the top-25 point scorers all-time in the storied history of the program. Marques and fellow senior Gabi Pereira both earned All-East Region honors from United Soccer Coaches upon the completion of the season, while Marques notched her second straight All-Northeast-10 Conference First Team selection. Jessica Magerman added All-NE10 Third Team honors, while Camille Sahirul represented the future of the program on the NE10 All-Rookie Team. Marques added her second straight NE10 Academic All-Conference selection to round out the season's awards docket.

The 2018 season saw the Ravens continue their climb back to national prominence. Franklin Pierce laid claim to its league-record eighth Northeast-10 Conference title, as well as its first since 2006, with a 3-0 win over Assumption at home on Nov. 4. The Ravens returned NCAA Championship play to Rindge as well, as they hosted the first and second rounds of the East Regional at Sodexo Field. The crimson and grey notched their first win in NCAA postseason play since 2009 with a 4-0 blanking of Caldwell in the first round, before falling to LIU Post in the second round, 3-1. It all added up to a 16-2-2 record for the Ravens, which included an 11-1-2 mark in league play on the way to the NE10 regular-season crown. Franklin Pierce finished the season ranked No. 20 in the country in the United Soccer Coaches poll, after reaching as high as No. 7 during the season. Through Garbar's first two seasons in Rindge, the Ravens posted a 20-2-1 record at home, over 23 games on Sodexo Field.

The accolades were a plenty at the end of Garbar's sophomore season at the helm of the squad, highlighted by a trio of All-America selections. Marta Turmo capped her career with a consensus All-America Third Team selection, while Veronica Marques tallied an All-America First Team selection from United Soccer Coaches and Nathalia Maria da Silva was tabbed as an All-America Second Team selection by the Division II Conference Commissioner's Association. All three collected All-East Region accolades as well, as did Bruna Tavares. Turmo would later add CoSIDA Academic All-America Third Team honors for good measure. The campaign also produced a bevy of NE10 awards for the Ravens, led by three major league awards. Garbar was selected as the NE10 Coach of the Year, and was the first coach in program history to earn the honor. His team also produced the NE10 Player of the Year in Marques and the NE10 Defensive Player of the Year in Turmo. In all, the Ravens had six players earn All-NE10 honors.

Garbar's 2017 debut season in Rindge saw a resurgent Franklin Pierce squad return to regional relevance. The Ravens ran off a 12-5-2 record, which included a 9-3-2 mark in Northeast-10 Conference play, which was good enough for a fourth-place finish. The crimson and grey returned to the postseason for the first time since 2014 and advanced to the final round of the NE10 Championship for the first time since 2010, via home-field wins over Pace and Merrimack, as postseason play returned to Sodexo Field. The Ravens also made their first NCAA Championship appearance since 2010, where they suffered a 2-0 loss to LIU Post in the first round. The team's signature win was a 1-0 road triumph over then-No. 6 nationally ranked Adelphi on Oct. 21.

Gabriella Braga, Marta Turmo, Nathalia Maria da Silva and Bruna Tavares all collected All-East Region honors from United Soccer Coaches at the end of the 2017 season and were the first Ravens to collect All-Region accolades since 2013. Braga, da Silva, and Turmo, along with Gabi Pereira, each earned All-NE10 First Team honors, while Evaline Rodrigues landed on the league's All-Rookie Team.

Rindge will be the first NCAA coaching stop for Garbar, who most recently spent five seasons as the head women's soccer coach at Monroe College. He took over in the program's first year after elevating to the Division I level of the National Junior College Athletic Association and promptly rattled off a 72-7-4 record (.892 winning percentage). Garbar's tenure at Monroe was highlighted by a national title in 2014, as well as a national semifinal appearance in 2015, and back-to-back-to-back district and regional titles in 2013, 2014 and 2015. The 2014 national championship earned him National Coach of the Year honors from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America.

Over his time at Monroe, Garbar coached seven NSCAA All-America selections, including four players who were selected to the First Team, highlighted by the 2014 National Player of the Year. He saw 31 of his former student-athletes advance from the junior college level to earn athletic scholarships at the NCAA level over his five years at Monroe. Further, Garbar was able to oversee the academic success of his program, which has posted a 3.4 grade-point average over the previous five years. Over his stint, he was able to procure student-athletes from countries spanning the globe, including Brazil, Paraguay, Spain, England, Japan, Sweden, and Croatia.

Garbar wore numerous hats, in addition to his coaching duties, during his time at Monroe. He served as the institution's Director for South American Recruitment from 2013-2015 and, prior to that, worked from 2010-2012 creating a program specifically targeted towards bringing international students to the College.

From Maplewood, N.J., Garbar graduated from the University of Delaware in 2002 with a bachelor's degree in liberal arts, before earning his master's in teaching from fellow Northeast-10 Conference member Pace University in 2007. An established coach at the academy level as well, he is the creator and director of New Era Soccer Academy, among various other ventures into the world of player development.
