Three Soccer Players Named United Soccer Coaches All-Americans
Barriguinha started in all 20 games for the Ravens this season as a sophomore midfielder to earn his first career All-American honor. The Portugal native contributed four gaols and seven assists for 15 points, including one game-winning-goal.
Martikainen earned her second career United Soccer Coaches All-American honor. She was named First Team after starting every game for the Ravens so far, this 2024 season. Martikainen contributed seven goals and two assists for 16 points while holding down a defense that has only allowed 12 goals.
Peirce was named to the United Soccer Coaches All-American Second Team for the first time. Peirce led the team in scoring with 14 goals and seven assists for 35 points. She started in every game for the Ravens so far while contributing five game-winning-goals.
The Franklin Pierce women's soccer looks to continue their 2024 season as they face Cal Poly Pomona in the NCAA Semifinals, Friday, December 13th. Kickoff is set for 6 PM in Matthews, North Carolina.
