RINDGE, N.H. (10/09/2024) – The No. 23 nationally ranked Franklin Pierce women's soccer team battled their inter-state rival Saint Anselm Hawks to a 2-2 tie on Wednesday night at Sodexo Field in Northeast-10 conference play.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

Graduate forward Olivia Kudrikow (Plymouth, Mass.) opened the scoring for the Ravens 32:50 into the first half. She made a defender miss then cut to her right and fired a laser off her right foot into the right corner of the goal, giving the Ravens the 1-0 lead.

The Ravens lead would be short lived, with the Hawks tying the score at one a piece at the 34:39 mark. Josie Pecor scored off a feed from Riley DiGilio to equalize. The score remained 1-1 heading into the second half.

The Hawks took their first lead of the game with 23:24 left in the second half. Camryn Doyle received a pass from Riley DiGilio to put the Hawks in front 2-1.

The Ravens wouldn't give up easily. With under 5 minutes remaining, graduate midfielder Devon Schmitt (LaGrange, N.Y.) fed a pass to junior midfielder Olivia Crespo (Ludlow, Mass.) who fired a screamer from well outside the box to tie the score 2-2. The Ravens came away with the 2-2 tie against the Hawks.
