Finlay earned her first career Northeast-10 Player of the Week
honors.RINDGE, N.H. (October 20, 2014) – Sophomore midfielder Madison Finlay (Plymouth, Mass.) of the Franklin Pierce University women's soccer team has been named Northeast-10 Conference Player of the Week for the week ending on Oct. 19, as announced Monday by the Conference office.
Finlay had five points over two games in what was a 2-0-0 week for the Ravens. She scored and later assisted on the game-winning goal in Wednesday's comeback win at Saint Anselm. Later in the week, she scored the first goal, the eventual game-winner, against Le Moyne at home on Saturday.
On the season, Finlay has started all 13 games for the Ravens and has recorded 13 points on four goals and five assists. She has also added two game-winning goals along the way. Finlay's 13 points are one off the team's scoring lead.
The Ravens return to the field on Friday, Oct. 24, when they remain home to host Pace in a Northeast-10 Conference contest. Game time is set for 7 p.m. at Sodexo Field.
