Women's Soccer Standouts Aya Noguchi & Amanda Panaro Named to NSCAA All-East Region Teams
Both players recognized by the NSCAA for the second-straight season
RINDGE, N.H. (December 13, 2011) -- Franklin Pierce University women's soccer standouts Aya Noguchi (Tokyo, Japan) and Amanda Panaro (Rockland, Mass.) were recently named to the 2011 NSCAA All-East Region Second and Third Teams, respectively. The announcement was made earlier this week by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA).
Noguchi, a senior midfielder, was named to the second-team for the second-consecutive season. She provided strong all-around play for the Ravens this season and started all 16 matches she appeared in.
Panaro, a senior forward, was named to the third-team, marking the second-straight year she earned NSCAA all-region honors (she was named to the first-team in 2010). She missed nearly half of this season with an injury, but still ranked among the team leaders in goals (6), points (12) and shots (45).
