EASTON, Mass. (April 26, 2021) -- Junior Savannah Ernst (American Fork, Utah) of the Franklin Pierce University women’s lacrosse team has been named Northeast-10 Conference Player of the Week, for the week ending on April 25, as announced on Monday afternoon by the NE10.

Ernst piled up 17 points on 15 goals and two assists in a 2-1 week for the Ravens. She attempted 31 shots, including 25 goals, and went 5-for-8 on free-position shots. Ernst picked up four ground balls, nabbed nine draw controls and caused one turnover along the way. She had her biggest day of the week in Friday’s win at Southern New Hampshire, when she went for eight points (7-1-8), along with two ground balls, three draw controls and a caused turnover.

On the season, Ernst has tallied a team-leading 41 points on 33 goals and eight assists. She also leads the team in shots (64) and shots on goal (50), and is 10-for-16 on free-position shots. Ernst has collected 10 ground balls and 21 draw controls while starting all seven games the team has played.

The Ravens are scheduled to be back in action on Wednesday, April 28, when they travel to Assumption for a 4 p.m. start.
