MANSFIELD, Mass. (09/26/24) - The NE10 has released the 2024 NE10 Women's Golf Pre-Championship Poll and the Franklin Pierce Ravens landed at the top of the list. It is the fifth-straight time that the Ravens have been picked as NE10 favorites by opposing head coaches. 

Champions in four of the past five seasons, Franklin Pierce received five first-place votes and earned 25 points overall to be tabbed to finish first in the NE10 Women's Golf Championship. Right behind them was the reigning NE10 champions New Haven, which recorded one first-place vote and earned 20 points.  

Franklin Pierce had won four-straight NE10 Championship titles between 2019 and 2022, with New Haven breaking the streak in just the second year of the program's existence. The Chargers shot a +53 (629) as a team, holding off the Ravens who finished in second with a +59 (635).

Franklin Pierce will have an opportunity to win its sixth NE10 title in program history when the Championship is played this Sunday (Sept. 29) and Monday (Sept. 30) at Blackstone National Golf Club in Sutton, Mass. Assumption is serving as the host school. Championship play will kick-off on Sunday at 12 p.m. and Monday with a shotgun start at 7:30 a.m. The 36-hole tournament will have live score updates available on Clippd.
