MANSFIELD, MASS. (09/25/24) – The Franklin Pierce women's golf team swept the NE10 weekly awards for week two. Senior Kesinee Prukmathakul (Bangkok, Thailand) was named the Player of the Week for the second week in a row while Yiyou Chen (Shanghai, China) was named Rookie of the Week,  

In her third week in competition, Prukmathakul finished first overall in her third straight tournament. This past week, the Ravens competed at the Hartford Hawk/Gillette Ridge Invitational hosted by the University of Hartford. Prukmathakul was in fourth place after day one at the tournament but finished with a line score of 80-71—151 (+7) to earn first place.  

First year Yiyou Chen competed in her first tournament for the Ravens this past weekend. In her first showing, Chen finished in sixth place at the Hartford Hawk/Gillette Ridge Invitational, as she shot a 16-over (79-81--160) to help Franklin Pierce to a team victory - its third in as many tournaments this season. She shot a seven-over (79) in the first round and a nine-over (81) in the second round.   

The women's golf team will compete at the Northeast-10 Conference Championships this weekend, starting on Sunday, September 29th. The championships are set to take place in Sutton, Massachusetts at the Blackstone National Golf Club.
