Women’s Golf: Ravens Kick off 2024-25 Campaign with 1st Place Team and Individual Finish in Pennsylvania
GETTYSBURG, PA (09/10/24) – The Franklin Pierce University women's golf team kicked off their 2024-25 campaign with success at the West Chester University Battlefield Classic in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania after the Ravens earned first place as a team led by Kesinee Prukmathakul (Bangkok, Thailand) who earned first place individually.
Competing in a field of eight schools, The Ravens finished with a final score of 315-299(614). After day one, FPU took the lead with a score of 315 and never looked back. Their final score of 614 proved to be a 43 shot lead from the runner up Panthers from Adelphi University.
On the Raven's squad, Prukmathakul lead the way shooting a 145 (+1) and earned first place individually. Phisonlaya Ruayruen (Chiangmai, Thailand) tied for 2nd place after shooting a 153 (+9). Following her was Lorelai Flanagan (Arlington, Mass.) who finished with a 158 (+14) and finished fourth individually.

UP NEXT FOR THE RAVENS: FPU returns to their home course next week when they host the Franklin Pierce Invitational at Bretwood Golf Course in Keene, New Hampshire. Opening round begins on Monday, September 16.
