Women's Golf Host and Win Franklin Pierce University Fall Invitational
WESTMINSTER, MASS. (9/19/2023) – The Franklin Pierce University women's golf program acted as both hosts and champions Tuesday after the team won the Franklin Pierce University Fall Invitational at The Woods of Westminster golf course.
Mother nature kept the seven participating teams off the fairways Monday, so the 18-hole tournament was played entirely on Tuesday.
The Ravens finished off the single day of play with a combined score of 295 which proved to be a 17 shot lead from the runner up Chargers from the University of New Haven.
On the Raven's squad, Kesinee Prukmathakul lead the way shooting a 69 (-2) and earned second place individually. Phisonlaya Ruayruen was close behind in 3rd place after shooting a 72 (+1) and right behind her was Alia Godek who finished with a 75 (+4) and tied for fourth place individually.
