Northeast-10 Conference Women's Golf Weekly Report

MANSFIELD, Mass. (April 14, 2022) -- Coming off a successful weekend for both teams, the Franklin Pierce University golf program collected three of the four available Northeast-10 Conference weekly awards, as announced on Wednesday afternoon by the league office. On the women’s side, freshman Kesinee Prukmathakul (Bangkok, Thailand) was named as both NE10 Player and Rookie of the Week. For the men, junior Michael Sosik (Fiskdale, Mass.) snagged NE10 Player of the Week accolades.

It was Prukmathakul’s third time sweeping the awards on the women’s side, after she finished as medalist in a dual match against Merrimack on Sunday. She carded an even-par 72, to lead the Ravens in a 312-312 tie with the Warriors.

For his part, Sosik tied for low-NE10 golfer amid a strong, 116-player field at the NCAA Regional Preview, hosted by Le Moyne. He went 79-72--149 (+5) to finish in a tie for fourth and help the Ravens to an NE10-best seventh-place finish at the event.

Both teams are back in action on Monday and Tuesday, April 18-19, at the Yellow Jacket Invite, hosted by American International, at Ledges Golf Club in South Hadley, Mass.
