Women's Basketball: Sirowich Tallies 13 Points, Heitmann Grabs Three Blocks in Team Win Over Saint Michael's

RINDGE, N.H (1/24/2024) -- The Franklin Pierce women's basketball team snapped their three-game losing streak Wednesday night at The Fieldhouse as they beat St. Michael's 54-37 to win their 10th game of the season.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- In the first quarter, the Ravens outscored the Purple Knights 16-8, and they had six offensive rebounds.
- The talk of the first half for Franklin Pierce was rebounding and second-chance points. The Ravens had 11 second-chance points and 31 total rebounds. Franklin Pierce led 25-16 heading into halftime.
- One Raven starter finished in double figures. Kenzie Sirowich (Seymour, CT) had 13 points and shot 5 for 8 from the field. She hauled in nine boards.
- Leana Heitmann (Syracuse, N.Y.) was a force on defense after she tallied three of the team's six blocks.
- In the final quarter, Franklin Pierce outscored St. Michael's 20-8 to secure their 10th win of the season and sweep the season series.
