Former Standout Johannah Leedham Featured on NCAA.org

Leedham is a member of the NCAA Division II 40th Anniversary All-Tribute Team

RINDGE, N.H. (June 26, 2013) – Former Franklin Pierce University women’s basketball standout Johannah Leedham (Class of ’10), and her remarkable collegiate career, was recently the subject on an in-depth feature story done by NCAA.org, as the website helps NCAA Division II celebrate its 40th Anniversary.

As part of this 40th anniversary celebration, the national organization put together an NCAA Division II All-Tribute Team, which is comprised of one male and one female honoree from each of the division’s conferences. Johannah was the female representative for the Northeast-10 Conference.

Leedham was a standout for the women’s basketball program from 2006-10 and is the all-time leading scorer in NCAA Division II women’s basketball history with 3,050 points. Her career scoring total ranks as the fifth highest across all divisions of women’s college basketball. Leedham was a two-time national player of the year and helped lead Franklin Pierce to three-straight NCAA East Regional championships, back-to-back NE-10 titles, a trip to the 2009 national title game and a berth in the 2010 Final Four.
