2008-09: Named to the Northeast-10 Commissioner’s Spring Academic Honor Roll … appeared in 35 games with 32 starts … averaged 7.3 points, 5.2 rebounds and 1.1 assists per game … scored in double-figures in 12 games … pulled down at least five rebounds in 22 games … recorded two double-doubles on the year … scored 12 points and had nine rebounds versus Southern New Hampshire (12/6) … collected 14 points and eight boards versus Merrimack (12/22) … had a double-double with 10 points and 12 rebounds against Shippensburg (12/28) … tossed in 13 points to go along with four rebounds and three assists at Saint Rose (1/14) … totaled 13 points and seven rebounds against Bentley (2/7) … followed with 14 points and another seven boards at Merrimack (2/10) … notched a double-double with 17 points and 10 rebounds at Assumption (2/18) … had seven points and six rebounds against Stonehill (3/16) in the NCAA regional championship … scored 10 points and ripped down four rebounds in the national title game against Minnesota State-Mankato (3/27). Before Franklin Pierce: A 2007 graduate of East Greenwich High School. Four-year letterwinner, serving as captain as a junior and senior. First-team All-State as a senior after earning second-team All-State honors twice. Reached the 1,000-point plateau in her junior season. Also lettered four years in volleyball. Played AAU basketball with Rhode Island Shooting Stars.

Personal: Born November 1, 1989, in Providence, R.I. Daughter of Diane Ahrens of East Greenwich, R.I. Has a sister, Liana, and a brother, Thomas. Supports the Boston Celtics. Lists her greatest sports moment as going to the Elite 8 in 2008. Undecided on academic major at Franklin Pierce.
