FPU reflects on storybook season

Looking forward, the loss will be
of minor consequence. Sure, there'll be some reminders. There will
likely be a Final Four banner instead of a National Championship
banner hanging on a wall at the FPU Fieldhouse, the runner-up rings
will not be as glamorous and the program at all future Division II
women's basketball Elite Eight tournaments will always carry the
championship game final score: Minnesota State-Mankato 103,
Franklin Pierce 94.
But those won't be painful reminders for the Ravens, who quickly
replaced the disappointment over their loss to the Mavericks on
Friday night in the national championship game at San Antonio,
Texas, with a satisfying sense of accomplishment.
