Bio
2007-2008: Appeared in all 33
games as a freshman, making two starts. Ranked third on the team in
rebounding (4.0 per game) and seventh on the team in scoring (4.6
per game). Led the team with 53.8 percent shooting (64-for-119)
from the field on the year. Posted her first career double-double
with 13 points and 10 rebounds in a win over Southern Connecticut
(1/5). Set new season-highs with 14 points, 13 boards and three
steals in her first career start against Saint Rose (1/26). Had
five points and eight rebounds in 25 minutes 
of action in the team's NCAA Northeast Regional semifinal win over
Stonehill (3/15). Named Northeast-10 Freshman of the Week on three
occasions.
Before Franklin Pierce: A 2007 graduate of East Greenwich High School. Four-year letterwinner, serving as captain as a junior and senior. First-team All-State as a senior after earning second-team All-State honors twice. Reached the 1,000-point plateau in her junior season. Also lettered four years in volleyball. Played AAU basketball with Rhode Island Shooting Stars.
Personal: Born November 1, 1989, in Providence, R.I. Daughter of Diane Ahrens of East Greenwich, R.I. Has a sister, Liana (24), and brother, Thomas (21). Supports the Boston Celtics. Lists her greatest sports moment as going to the Elite 8 in 2008. Undecided on academic major at Franklin Pierce.
