MANSFIELD, Mass. (1/22/25) - The Franklin Pierce softball team is gearing up for a return to the NE10 Championship for the first time since 2022. The 2025 schedule includes two trips to Florida along with a full slate of conference games. The Ravens have been ranked in a tie for fourth in the NE10 Preseason Coaches' Poll, earning two first-place votes. The team posted an impressive 27-14 overall record last season, with a 14-8 mark in NE10 play.

Senior standout Haley Bigwood (Athol, Mass.), who earned NFCA Second-Team All-Region honors last year, will look to continue her stellar performance on the field. The Ravens will also lean on a strong senior core, with five players entering their final collegiate campaigns.

Franklin Pierce begins the 2025 season with a trip to Clermont, Florida, to compete in THE Spring Games. Their season opener is scheduled for Friday, February 28, against St. Cloud State and Sioux Falls. The Ravens will host their first home games on Saturday, March 29, with a doubleheader against Adelphi.
