Bio

Marykate Cullinane enters her first season as head coach of the Franklin Pierce rowing program in 2020-21, after spending the 2019-20 season as an assistant coach. Cullinane joined the coaching staff in 2019, following a successful four-year stint as a member of the rowing program.

As an undergraduate, Cullinane served as a captain on the rowing team beginning in spring of 2016, a role she held through the remainder of her collegiate career. She was named the team's Most Valuable Player during the spring of 2016, and followed up with Most Improved Player honors in spring of 2017.

Academically, Cullinane was inducted into the International English Honor Society, Sigma Tau Delta. She was a multiple-time Dean's List student and graduated magna cum laude.

Originally from Medford, Mass., Cullinane is a 2019 graduate of Franklin Pierce, with a bachelor's degree in education studies.
