Before Franklin Pierce: Taylor was a three-sport athlete at Gloucester High competing for the softball, basketball, and field hockey programs...She played four years of softball and achieved numerous awards, was the rookie of the year and offensive player of the year as a freshman was the offensive player of the year as her sophomore year, the defensive player of the year, a Northeastern Conference All-Star and a two-time team captain her junior and senior seasons...Played three years of varsity basketball and was a two-year member of the field hockey team and team captain her senior year.
