Rowing Teams Compete at NH Championships this Past Weekend
Women's team places first in the Open 2- race
HOOKSETT, N.H. (October 12, 2009) – The
Franklin Pierce University men’s and women’s rowing
teams competed at the New Hampshire Championships this past weekend
in Hooksett, N.H.
The Ravens placed a team in the Women’s Open 2- race and
finished first in a time of 20:06.31. The two team members were
Mairecait Binienda and Brigit
Arell.
The men’s team competed in two events, including the
Men’s Novice 4+ and the Men’s Open 4+. In the novice
event, the Ravens placed third out of nine teams in a time of
18:36.15. In the open event, Franklin Pierce placed 10th out of 18
teams in a time of 16:43.89.
