USTFCCCA All-Region honorees

NEW ORLEANS (November 14, 2019) – The Franklin Pierce University men’s cross country program has had four runners earn All-East Region honors from the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association, as formally announced on Monday. Junior Hugo Arlabosse (Marseille, France), sophomore Riley Fenoff (Danville, Vt.), graduate student William Rawson (Atherton, England) and senior Jason Reed (Foxborough, Mass.) were all honored for their work at last weekend’s NCAA Championship East Regional.

The USTFCCCA’s All-Region honors are determined on a strictly objective basis. The Association recognizes the top 25 finishers, for both men and women, at each of the country’s eight regional sites.

Arlabosse was the first across the line for the Ravens on Saturday at the East Regional, which was held at Belmont Plateau and hosted by Jefferson. He turned in a 10k time of 32:17 to take 11th place. All four Franklin Pierce All-Region honorees finished in the top 20, as Rawson followed in 15th (32:22), Fenoff took 18th (32:26) and Reed placed 20th (32:28). Reed is the first Raven in program history to earn three straight All-Region accolades.

It marked the first time in program history the Ravens had four cross country runners earn All-Region honors in the same season. In total, the cross country and track & field programs have now produced 164 All-Region award winners since the program’s inception in 2012-13.

The four All-Region performances helped Franklin Pierce to a fourth-place finish at the East Regional.
