MANCHESTER, Conn. (September 7, 2019) -- The Franklin Pierce men's cross country team finished third out of eight teams at the Trinity Bantam Invitational on Saturday, held at Wickham Park. Leading the way for the Ravens was top-three finisher, sophomore Riley Fenoff (Danville, Vt.), who took third place out of 86 runners, with a time of 16:13.

Right behind Fenoff was junior Hugo Arlabosse (Marseille, France) who took fourth, finishing the 5k race at 16:30, to make it two Ravens in the top five.

Also within the top 10 was sixth-place runner, senior Jason Reed (Foxborough, Mass.), who ran the course in a time 16:50. After Reed were top-20 finishers, junior Ryan Ducrow (Amesbury, Mass) and freshman Zach Aham (Nottingham, N.H.). Ducrow took 17th and finished at 17:22, followed by Aham at 17:28, which landed him at 18th to round out Franklin Pierce's scoring five on the day.

"Fenoff, Arlabosse and Reed showed today why they are All-Region performers in cross country," said head coach Zach Emerson after a meet which he viewed as a solid opener for the squad. "Those three runners are tough as nails and had solid performances today on a slow, hilly course. We look forward to running at our full strength next week over the longer, 8k distance at the UNE Invite."

Sophomore Will Aylward (Peabody, Mass.) crossed the finish line at 17:50 to take 26th, with senior Tyler Hayes (Kings Park, N.Y.) shortly behind in 32nd, at a time of 18:19.

Within the top-50 finishers was senior John Walker (Boscawen, N.H.), who placed in 38th after his 18:40 finish. Along with him was Ahmed Rabbini (Peabody, Mass.), a senior who took 46th at a time of 19:09.
