Track and Field: Ravens Collect 15 Gold, 22 Total Medals at Northeast-10 Championships

NEW HAVEN, CT (5/4/2024) – Franklin Pierce University Track and Field closed out its in-conference season over the weekend at the Northeast-10 Championships and collected an impressive 22 medals, 15 of which were gold. The men's team finished the weekend in second place overall and the women's team grabbed eighth.
Stephen Harris (Billerica, MA) frequented the podium after he earned gold medals in the 100m, 200m, 400m and the 4x100m relay. Harris' times in the 100m and 200m set new program and conference championship records respectively. The medals weren't the only heavy hardware Harris brought home as he was also named the Northeast-10 Men's Most Valuable Athlete and the Northeast-10 Track Most Outstanding Performer.
Ryan Outerbridge (Paget, Bermuda) was another Raven runner who grabbed a set of gold medals after he earned the top spot as a member of the 4x800m relay and the 4x100 relay. His third gold medal of the day came during his performance in the 3,000m steeplechase where he marked the only other Raven to break a program record on the day.
